TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  ATTENDANCE

It is strongly encouraged that attendees be onsite at least 5 minutes before the listed start time for the class. CPR training begins the moment the instructor begins his/her lesson. Students are expected to arrive on time and be present for the entire class to receive a certification. Students arriving to class more than 15 minutes late for a class may be denied entry altogether and will need to register for another class.

CANCELLATION

If you have registered and paid for a training class with Live and Learn CPR, we reserve a seat for you. This guarantees that you have a reserved seat in the class and that you will receive your certification card once you complete the course.. Cancellations requested more than 72 hours prior to a scheduled class may receive a refund, less a 10% administrative fee. Please note we will not issue refunds for cancellations within 72 hours of the scheduled class. In this case, you forfeit your payment.

RESCHEDULING

If you registered and paid for a class, but can’t make that particular date or time, we are happy to reschedule your class for you, at no charge, if you let us know at least 72 hours prior to class. You have 30 days from the initial class date to attend the rescheduled class. If you reschedule your class 24 to 72 hours prior to class you may be charged a $20 rescheduling fee.  Rescheduling is unavailable with less than 24 hours notice and you will forfeit your registration payment.  You are able to reschedule your class up to 2 times.  After the second time you forfeit your registration fee.

NO-SHOW

If a registered student does not show up to their scheduled class and has not rescheduled, they are considered a no-show and forfeit the complete paid registration fee.

RETAKE

If a student participating in one of our open enrollment classes fails any portion of the class (skills check or written exam), the student will be allowed to retake the class at half price. Please note, you may retake a class only once at half price. If a student fails a portion of the course a second time, they can retake the class again at 100% of the class cost.

EMERGENCY CANCELLATION

Live and Learn CPR reserves the right to cancel classes at any time, due to unforeseen events, such as an emergency that’s due to severe weather, instructor illness/injury, family emergencies etc… In those unlikely events, we will make every attempt to contact you. Participants in these courses will receive priority enrollment in the next available class, and be given the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. Live and Learn CPR never cancels a class due to low enrollment.
